Hidalgo County Courthouse Replacement

ERO’s design for the new Hidalgo County Courthouse received the Lower Rio Grande Valley AIA Spark Award. The accolade recognized the design’s approach, innovation, aesthetics, and community linkage. The building stands at a majestic seven stories with brise soleil shading for the jewel box main lobby and laser cut metal panels and tiles for decoration. The award recognizes excellence in architectural work and elevated the quality of architecture for unbuilt projects.
